Overview
The Nordhaus Noosa Plunge is a WiFi-enabled ice bath with a fluted exterior finished in matte white, adding texture that blends into almost any space.
Water temperature is fully adjustable from an almost-frozen 3℃ (37.4℉) up to a warm 42℃ (107.6℉), so the same tub covers cold plunge recovery and warm hydrotherapy. WiFi control lets you set and monitor temperature remotely from the Nordhaus app, so the water is ready before you are.
The chiller runs continuously to hold your set temperature, so there is no daily ice top-up, and the built-in filtration keeps water clean between sessions with minimal upkeep. Suitable for indoor or covered outdoor installation on a flat, level, load-rated surface.

The chiller cools the water down to 3°C and holds it there, so every plunge is as cold as the last. You can set any temperature between 3°C and 42°C from the touchscreen or the app.
If you are new to cold water immersion, many people start warmer, around 10 to 15°C, for a minute or two and lower the temperature as they adapt.
No. The 1HP chiller cools the water for you and holds your set temperature, so there is no buying, storing or topping up ice. Fill the bath once, set your temperature and it is ready whenever you are.
Yes. The same unit heats as well as cools, with a range from 3°C up to 42°C. You can use it for cold plunges, a warm soak, or switch between the two for contrast therapy. Pair it with a Nordhaus sauna for a complete hot and cold routine at home.

Yes. It is suitable for indoor use or a covered outdoor area. Place it on a flat, level surface that can carry the weight, around 400kg once filled.
Allow a footprint of 2.5m wide x 1m deep, with 30cm of clear space behind the chiller exhaust fan in a well ventilated spot. The insulated cover protects the bath and helps hold the temperature when it is not in use.
Setup takes two people around 5 to 15 minutes. Connect the two hoses between the bath and the chiller, fill it up and switch it on.
No plumbing is required. The bath drains through an external valve with a garden hose attachment. If you prefer a permanent connection, there is a 50mm drainage pipe under the bath that a professional plumber can plumb in.
The Nordhaus fluted ice bath measures 170cm long x 80cm wide x 64cm high and holds 300L of water. The chiller unit sits beside it and measures 58cm long x 43cm wide x 53cm high. The bath weighs 100kg empty and around 400kg when filled.
For home use, the plunge body is covered for 2 years, the chiller unit for 2 years and the insulated lid for 1 year. On the chiller, year 1 covers parts and labour and year 2 covers parts only, with freight covered. Commercial use is covered for 1 year. Full details are on our warranty page.

We added a 3-person sauna to our ensuite to make use of some extra space, and it's been a great investment. We use it 3+ times a week, mainly for muscle recovery after workouts, and it's made a noticeable difference. We also love the two bench levels - the higher bench gets noticeably hotter than the lower one, which is great depending on how intense you want your session. The biggest surprise has been the sleep - when we do use the sauna before bed, it gives us some of the best nights of sleep we've had. If you have the room and are considering it, we'd absolutely recommend it - not just as a luxury, but as something that genuinely supports your health and wellness.

We love the new far infrared three person sauna. I use it every morning after my walk and my wife uses it most evenings after the kids are asleep. Temperature is perfect and heating time is good. Lights and Bluetooth are great. Set up is fairly straight forward, definitely a two person job. In short we are very happy and regret not purchasing earlier!
Absolutely love the Nordhaus traditional sauna, heats up quickly, holds temperature consistently, and just feels premium the moment you step in. It’s become a daily reset for me, proper sweat, clear head, and noticeably better recovery and sleep.

We absolutely love the sauna! My husband and I used to pay for sauna sessions 2–3 times a week, so having one at home has been a total game changer. It’s just so easy and convenient to use whenever we want, and it’s become a really important part of our routine. It’s been especially great for my husband’s mental health — having that time to unwind at home has made such a difference. We went with the steam heater option and honestly love it — we personally find it much better than infrared. It heats up well, feels amazing, and the whole setup process was super easy. The only thing we’d change would be having the ability to turn it on from our phones, but aside from that we couldn’t be happier with it!

Huge shoutout to Nordhaus. After so much research, I decided on their full spectrum infrared sauna. It was very important to me to choose a company that didn’t use toxic glues or materials. After tossing up between their traditional and infrared options, I’m so happy with my decision. It’s a huge part of my detox journey, and I love the research indicating improved longevity and overall health. The team were supportive with my decision, and the sales process was simple. I’ve been using it every day, and I love it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality sauna.
Actually brought this for an ‘onsen’ hot tub experience rather than an ice bath. Quick delivery and great service from the Nordhaus team. Recommend the 2HP Pro unit as it can get up to temp (41C) in about 30-40mins from approx 23C. This is great for me as I don’t use everyday and don’t want it running all week and can spin up when needed. When getting up to temp the unit does make some noise but not too much - about what you’d expect from a similar sized aircon unit. Only point for improvement I can think of is the provided connecting hoses need to be longer to provide more flexibility in placement of the heating/cooling unit. Overall highly recommend if you are in the market for a hot/cold tub.

Really enjoying both the ice bath and the sauna I’ve had an infrared sauna before however I do believe that the hot rock version is much better. It gets a lot harder and it also usually the option for the Steam great product reasonably priced.

Company is very professional and great to deal with. The product has been made well for the most part but there are a few items not quite as you would expect from photos. The front heaters have leads hanging down at the front which are not shown in any photos and are always exposed. The heaters themselves use folded stainless that can bend in very easily exposing a sharp edge. The external roof is made of 6mm MDF and very fragile and not really fit for purpose. Mine broke when unpacking and will be replacing it with a piece an formply. The unit was delayed 6 additional weeks from what I was originally advised.

I absolutely friggin looove my new traditional sauna from Nordhaus. My preferred temperature is 85 degrees which the sauna can easily handle. Using the sauna has become a daily ritual for my wife and I and we feel fantastic as a result. The sauna itself feels like it is made from quality wood and materials and has a nice minimalist aesthetic that we like. The team at Nordhaus were super helpful in making arrangements for delivery and the set up process was fairly straightforward. I highly recommend Nordhaus' traditional saunas.

Really great quality. Installation was simple (for my partner and a friend). Like all saunas it needs airflow to get it to 80+ degrees (from underneath and roof vent as well as around the element). John was super helpful. The delivery driver brilliant as well. Highly recommend this sauna, well worth buying from Nordhaus for sure. Nord look and the quality heater and timber makes a difference. Heats up in around 45 mins, simple to use and gets me sweating within 5 mins. I use a sauna felt hat to help protect my head and hair. I did a lot of research before settling on a Nordhaus sauna and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Compared to the similarly priced competition, Nordhaus use a larger heater (4.5kw) and 8mm glass instead of 6mm. When it arrived I was impressed by the build quality and attention to detail. It is also very easy to assemble. John and Jeven have been excellent every step of the way. We had a minor hiccup with the transport company but that was sorted out quickly by John and his team and the actual delivery driver couldn't have been more accommodating. I would recommend a Nordhaus traditional sauna to anyone with no hesitation.
