What’s Not Covered

 

Ice Baths

Our ice bath warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or placement on an uneven surface
  • Use of incorrect chemicals or poor water management
  • Freezing pipes or exposure to extreme weather
  • Power surges, voltage spikes, or incorrect electrical setup
  • Modifications, repairs, or alterations not approved by Nordhaus
  • Grit or debris in the water, plumbing, or pump
  • Neglect, misuse, or not following the maintenance manual
  • Freight damage after delivery
  • Pests, natural disasters, or events outside our control
  • Transfer or resale of the product (warranty is non-transferable)

 

Saunas (Traditional & Infrared)

Our sauna warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or placement on an uneven surface
  • Water damage to indoor models used outdoors
  • Modifications, repairs, or alterations not approved by Nordhaus
  • Power surges, voltage spikes, or incorrect electrical setup
  • Neglect, misuse, or not following the maintenance manual
  • Freight damage after delivery
  • Pests, natural disasters, or events outside our control
  • Transfer or resale of the product (warranty is non-transferable)

 

Important Conditions

  • The warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred.
  • Products must be installed and maintained according to the Nordhaus instructions.
  • Cosmetic wear and tear (e.g. scratches or scuffs) is not covered.
  • Warranty coverage begins from the date the product is dispatched.
  • If a repair or replacement is needed, the warranty term does not reset.
