Allow approximately 200mm of additional clearance during assembly so the sauna can be safely positioned and installed.
The surrounding cavity must also have adequate ventilation, with all sauna intake and exhaust vents kept unobstructed so airflow can circulate and the ventilation system can operate as intended.

A dedicated 15 amp circuit is required and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
With a total draw of 2,950W, this is a simple one time setup that most electricians can complete quickly. Once installed, your sauna will be ready to connect and use.

Care is simple: wipe the benches and leave the door open to air dry after use.

What is a full spectrum infrared sauna?
A full spectrum infrared sauna uses near, mid and far infrared wavelengths together, where a standard infrared sauna uses far infrared only. Near infrared works at the surface of the skin, mid infrared reaches into muscle tissue, and far infrared penetrates deepest for core-level heat.
The Nordhaus 2 Person Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna combines 7 far infrared panels with 2 full spectrum heaters to deliver all three.
What is the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?
An infrared sauna heats your body directly, so the air stays cooler. This sauna runs between 30 and 75°C. A traditional sauna heats the air with an electric heater and stones, reaching up to 90°C or more, and lets you pour water on the stones for steam.
Choose infrared if you prefer a gentler heat you can sit in for longer. Choose traditional if you want high heat and steam. Our sauna buying guide compares the two in detail.
How hot does the 2 Person Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna get?
The temperature is adjustable from 30 to 75°C, and sessions run for up to 90 minutes. Because infrared warms the body directly, most people find it comfortable at a much lower air temperature than a traditional sauna.
Is this a low EMF infrared sauna?
Yes. The heaters are designed with low EMF heating technology, so you can relax through a full session.
What power does the 2 Person Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna need?
It needs a dedicated 15 amp circuit, installed by a licensed electrician. Total draw is 2,950W. The 15 amp wall socket is not included and is supplied and installed by your electrician.
The cost of the electrical work depends on your switchboard and how far the cable has to run, so it is worth getting a quote from a local electrician before you order.
How much space do I need for the 2 Person Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna?
The sauna measures 120cm wide x 100cm deep x 190cm high and seats two adults. The bench is 101cm wide x 45cm deep x 45cm high.
Allow 200mm of clearance above the sauna for assembly, and keep the vents clear so air can circulate.
Can this sauna be installed outside?
It is designed for indoor use or fully covered outdoor areas only, such as under a patio or veranda or inside a garage.

Can I control the sauna from my phone?
Yes. It has a touchscreen WiFi control panel with app access, so you can set the temperature and start preheating before you step inside.
