Electrical Connection
The sauna can be assembled yourself, however the heater must be connected by a licensed electrician. This is usually a simple one time setup and is commonly completed in under an hour.

Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local Australian electrical standards.We recommend confirming power availability and installation requirements with your electrician prior to delivery. In some cases, single phase may be possible, however this usually requires a dedicated 50 amp circuit. Please confirm this with your electrician before installation.

Yes. The Nordhaus Outdoor Traditional Sauna is built specifically for Australian outdoor conditions with a custom black aluminium batten cladding exterior that is engineered to withstand UV exposure, humidity, heat and rain long term.

Most outdoor saunas are built to a price, with smaller heaters, shallow seating, generic accessories, basic insulation, and WiFi sold as a paid upgrade. We do things differently.
Each Nordhaus outdoor sauna includes a genuine Harvia 6kW heater as standard, delivering powerful heat suited to outdoor conditions and the ability to reach up to 110C. WiFi control is also included, allowing you to set your desired temperature and preheat the sauna remotely before you step inside.
A three-stage airflow system helps supply the heater with enough fresh air, circulate heat throughout the cabin, and allow stale air to exhaust from the sauna. This supports more consistent heating and a more comfortable sauna environment.
The top bench is 50cm deep, giving you more room to sit back and remain comfortable throughout your sauna session. Bench depth is one of the most overlooked aspects when comparing saunas, but it makes a significant difference to the overall experience.
We use non toxic PIR insulation foam to help retain heat, maintain a consistent temperature, and reduce wasted electricity during use. The exterior is finished with custom black aluminium batten cladding built for Australian conditions, meaning there is no need to sand and restain the sauna every six months like traditional timber cladding.
With genuine Harvia accessories included as standard, it is a sauna designed with no shortcuts, no upsells, and every detail done properly.
